How I loved it.

I peeked out the window, today, only for a second. (yes, the sun was out...sort of.)

It was reflecting on the trees and grass and rooftops and bathing them in its golden light.
The sky beyond was so dark and ominous, a gorgeous smokey blue. How I loved it.

Yes, it did sting a bit but it was bearable in the little time I beheld it, as I was not staring directly into the sun, at all.
When it is cloudy I can have the shades wide open. I usually don't, but the point is I can.
I feel as a newborn vampire might, weeping at the beauty of such simple things it seems ludicrous.

But soon I will go out, drink and be merry as I cruise down the highway in my newly acquired Camero.
I probably won't keep it, for legal reasons, but I just want to have a bit of fun with it.

You know, dear, if you look very closely... there is a faint rainbow, off to the left. It starts near the top left corner, and continues down behind that skinny, bare tree. So you've captured all manner of beauty, here!

Haha. The rainbow is what I noticed first, too, Erin!

Lestat, where is that? i want to come and see the place for myself if you`ll have me, maybe you can show me the sights?
