I adore Sinéad O'Connor, especially her "Nothing compares to you"... When I firstly heard her singing, I almost cryed being full of emotions...

Yume, you are quite right. You could plainly see the emotion in her face, was directly reflected in the way she sang "nothing compares to you." She has a good voice, and I enjoy most of her songs.
I do not know if this can be called a "haunting voice"
But, as I have said somewhere before...
Each and every time I hear this song, and the pitch change... Something inside of me, wants to Break!
And, I would love to sing this song with Lara Fabian, in person!

Yes, Lestat, I think you're absolutely right - when I firstly saw Sinéad's clip (I've been a child) I was absolutely shocked - HOW is it possible to sing so incredibly, as if she wasn't performing, but really suffering and crying... It was breathtaking.
And later as I read about her life and all struggles she had I understood why all her songs are so full of emotions, literally torn my soul apart every time I heard her voice...
Oh, you love Lara Fabian!! It seems to me I saw recently the topic with her name in the title but being at work didn't have enough time to look - I always loved her voice and one of my friends (who also loved her talent) proposed me to sing "Je suis malade" just because I especially adore this song... Dalida's version (which I loved so much either), was too hard for me both on technical and emotional levels, and Lara Fabian's version is perfectly reflects all the tenderness and at the same time force of her voice... (but of course I didn't dare to sing neither Dalida's, nor Lara's version - thought I'm still not "mature" enough for this level of feelings... It's really one of the hardest songs considering emotional content)
As for Lara's voie - may be not exactly "haunting" but more "sensual" or even "spiritual", "soulful"... *I'm not very good in English synonims, just proposed the first thought entered in my head...*

It was absolutely gorgeous, Victor!... Loved this video and voice very much... So sad at the end of the clip (I felt tears in my eyes) and so beautiful... Thank you.
