Very interesting video - thanks for posting it, Lestat. I heard about all these possibilities of longevity and “immortality” and read this article about old mice who became younger after the blood transfusion from young mice. Also I heard a read quite many things about transhumanism and it’s main philosophy and some kinda “preliminary results” (personally I’m not fan of this idea and i mostly agree with the last scientist who called it utopia and was worried about the negative side of it like an attempt to create of the race of “superhumans” with all consequences of their elitism (which imho could lead to the same thing toward which Hitler wanted to go...(( But I like very much the idea about keeping the telomeres length as long as possible (some of my french ex-colleagues do a lot of research on huge cohorts of patients and yes, our telomeres is really the key may be not to immortality but obviously to the good health and longevity). I could speak about all these subjects endlessly (as all of them are extremely interesting for me as a doctor and biological scientist), but I’d prefer to discuss these items in live conversation (as it’s too long to tape all the thoughts here)..

Very interesting topic, but even in my early recollection of the catholic religion I do remember the vicar (or rural dean) perhaps a priest, saying (as he handed out the red wine) Receive the "blood of Christ" Then when he gave out those little dry bread crackers he said; Receive the "body of Christ"

Perhaps those preachers have been trying to say something all along.

Makes you wonder why humans are trying to play God. They cannot wind their minds around gravity...
Here is a thought for you, what happens if the Elite manage to accidentally add this life giving break~through to the water supply? Then everyone would be immortal? Over population, weapons would become useless, no laws. Sheer Chaos!?!

Ha, Lestat would be happy. He would be able to drink and drink, with never taking life again.  Or being asked that immortal question: "will you give me the dark gift, Lestat?" (I jest)

Pfft... Next, the Elite will be saying; it is alright to consume human flesh and drink from each other. Madness!

Completely agree with you, Louis (except may be just one statement that Lestat could be really happy in such strange perverted world like some of them longing to create....>.< ) You are both the perfect ones, the best ones in this World, and yes, perhaps we’re at the same “wave length” (on est sur le même longueur d’onde)...
