Hello, Beautiful Strangers!

Well, now... I'm not entirely certain as to what there is to say about me.

My name is Erin, for starters. Small bit of useless trivia; I was named for Erin and Elizabeth Walton, because my mother was and is an avid fan of the old T.V. show.

I am my own flavor of geek, to be sure. I love to sing (first soprano), write, act and dance... and am an amateur Cosplayer. I love any excuse to dress up, and will do so with the greatest enthusiasm!

I've been taking part in Rocky Horror casts since I was seventeen years old, so fishnets and heels are a regular part of my life. :p On that note, I had the honor and pleasure of meeting Barry Bostwick, Patricia Quinn and Nell Campbell (aka Little Nell) this past March. They are sweet and wonderful people, it was absolute heaven to spend a full weekend in their company.

As you may have guessed, I'm prone to rambling. My mind often goes off on the most random of tangents. Especially when it comes to movie quotes, song lyrics (as proven by the title of my introduction!), or excerpts from books/plays. Quote wars are one of my favorite things!

I have absolutely no qualms with making a goofball of myself, if it will help to make someone smile; especially a friend in need. To me, a real friend is more of a treasure than any bauble or trinket. I don't know that I would be standing here, today, if not for the friends I've made. Not for lack of trying to survive, though! Honestly, I'm too stubborn to let anything get me down, for long. I've often been told that I'm always smiling. While I know that isn't true, it give me warm and fuzzy feelings to hear it. Does that make any sense?

Alright, I think I've babbled enough. To further borrow a lyric from The Devil's Carnival, "Hello, hello, hello, beautiful stranger; how familiar the danger... slipping into the shadows!"

Erin-Elizabeth I agree with Louis, for once. You have a nice name, double-barreled names are usually names reserved for English snobs.

Well I'm glad that it meets with everyone's approval. ^_^ Just Erin, is fine. Elizabeth is just my middle name, but my mother often uses them both, together. Actually, I think she's the only one that does that, but I happen to like it. Now, so as not to risk boring everyone, I'll stop rambling!

Thank you. That was a day when I hadn't any costume planned, but my best frienfd (partner in crime, and Cosplay) dressed me up. It was fun! She was proud of all the attention I was getting.

Of course you'd get attention, you looked fabulous! Kudos to your friend, the costume looks like it was meant to fit you.
